Marci Barrientos is an innovative, accomplished executive with over 30 years of experience in leading school development in Bilingual/ESL efforts for PreK-12 districts in Texas. She’s held positions as a bilingual/ESL teacher, regional consultant for Title III, Reading Specialist for English Learners and as a district level educational specialist in the areas bilingual/ESL education and accountability.
As a regional and district consultant, she provided technical support to the schools for the development and implementation of Bilingual/ESL Programs. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration. Her interests include reading literacy, biliteracy education, and English as a second language education.
